Tuition Policy / Attendance Policy

Attendance Policy

1. Students are expected to keep their agreed schedule. Students must show up to their lessons ON TIME. Teachers are not responsible to make up for the lost time due the student’s late arrival.
2. Every calendar year, each student can cancel up to 4 lessons if 24-hour advanced notice is given for vacation purpose. These 4 lessons can either be credited or rescheduled. Cancellations beyond the fourth lesson will be charged and no make-up lessons will be provided. (Note: This policy does not apply on the Music Land observed holidays. Please see below for the list of holidays.)
3. Any missed lesson will be charged unless 24-hour advanced notice is given and there will be no make up lesson or credit provided.
4. In case of emergencies, when a student is unable to give the 24-hour advanced notice, a make-up lesson may be arranged upon agreement with the teacher. No credit will be given under these circumstances. No Show/No Notice Will Not be considered for Make-Ups.
5. Rescheduling will be provided upon the discretion of the teacher. Keep in mind that teachers have busy schedule, so Music Land has the right not to provide make up lessons for those who are rescheduling too many times and abusing the privilege of Make-Ups. Students must have a legitimate reason for rescheduling.
6. Any student who misses or cancels four or more lessons consecutively will not be guaranteed to keep their reserved lesson time and instructor. The existing students will need to pay the re-enrollment fee if the student wishes to continue the studies unless the student agrees to arrange the make-up lessons for the additional absences.
7. No credit or no make-up lessons will be given for students who miss any of the group music classes.
8. Should a teacher need to be absent, a substitute teacher will be provided for the student. If a substitute teacher can not be provided, the lesson will be rescheduled or credited.
9. Students must notify Music Land 30 days in advance if they decide to discontinue the private lessons. Music Land does not give Refund under any circumstances.
